Flickering

Flickering is a interdisciplinary performance mixing dance, partner acrobatics and modified suspended Chinese pole.

In life, people come and go, leaving behind traces that stay with us long after they've departed. Our performance explores the complex emotions tied to these goodbyes, embracing the bittersweet reality of how we carry the memories of what we've lost—both the joyful and the painful—throughout our lives. Though these individuals may no longer be physically present, they continue to shape who we are. Through this piece, we aim to find acceptance in the transient nature of relationships, honoring the past while acknowledging the space they leave behind in our hearts. We do this using an interdisciplinary approach.
This performance is in creation; by Dani Fernandez Lopez, Riccardo Marracini and Emma Versluys.

For the creation of this performance we have received support from Circus Next, Up - Circus & Performing Arts (Brussels), Mad Festival Antwerp, Panama Pictures, La Roseraei and Latitude 50.
